Terms of Service

Anchor Up · Last updated July 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Anchor Up ("the app", "we", "us", "our"), a personal-finance planning app operated by CodeLime LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Anchor Up is — and what it is not

Anchor Up is a planning tool that helps you organize your finances at a month-to-month and long-term level: debt payoff strategies, cash-flow overview, and retirement and college projections. It relies on the information you provide and on optional read-only connections to your financial institutions.

Anchor Up is not a financial, investment, accounting, or tax advisor. All figures, projections, readiness assessments, and tax estimates in the app are illustrative estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions you choose. They are educational only, are not a recommendation or a guarantee, and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions. Anchor Up is not a bank, broker-dealer, or money transmitter and does not hold, move, or place trades on your funds.

2. Eligibility & your account

3. Subscriptions, free trial & billing

4. Linked accounts & third-party services

You may optionally connect financial institutions to auto-sync balances. These connections are provided by third parties — Plaid (banks, loans, cards) and SnapTrade (investment accounts). Your institution credentials are entered with those providers, not with Anchor Up; we access your account data on a read-only basis to display balances and positions, and never to place trades or move money. Your use of those connections is also subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect any linked account at any time in Settings. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or acts of third-party services.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

The app, its content, and its branding are owned by CodeLime LLC and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own household's financial planning. Your financial data remains yours; see our Privacy Policy for how it is handled.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that projections will be accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that linked-account data will be complete or current. You use the app and rely on its outputs at your own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeLime LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or financial outcomes, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account), which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the app or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.

10. Changes

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CodeLime LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
